A Vinitaste medal is an undeniable asset to arouse the interest of consumers, restaurateurs and mass distribution channels and thus boost your sales. The attribution of the medals is controlled by the Federal Public Service Economy of the Belgian government. According to the regulations of wine contests in force in Europe, the number of medals awarded to samples that have obtained the best results, must not exceed 30% of the total number of samples presented in the contest.
92 - 100
Granted to wines having obtained a final score above 92 points.
85 - 92
Granted to wines having obtained a final score between 85 and 92 points.
82 - 85
Granted to wines having obtained a final score between 82 and 85 points.
The tasting sheet includes the technical analysis of the following parameters: the visual aspect, the nose, the mouth and the overall harmony of the wine. Depending on the average points given by each of the experts, the products will be awarded with a Silver medal, a Gold medal or a Grand Gold medal. In accordance with the regulations applicable for wine contests in Europe, the number of medals awarded to samples that have obtained the best results, must not exceed 30% of the total number of samples presented in the contest.
Along with the communication of the results (the day after the competition), for each medal-winning wine you will receive a useful marketing kit to promote the award.
The package includes:
- a detailed report of the results obtained during the tasting,
- the images and artwork of the medal,
- a diploma,
- a press release,
- various personalized promotional images.

Each award-winning wine can have this distinction displayed as a sticker on each bottle or the medal can be integrated directly on the label. The stickers can be purchased from Vinitaste or produced by your own supplier at no extra cost.
